Swellow was formed in 2017 and consists of Bayu Ramadhan Dwi Azni (vocals), Andi Idam Fauzi (guitar), Afnan Hissan (guitar), Misbahuddin Nika (bass), and Muhammad "Opay" Fadhil (drums). The members are also known for their involvement in Bogor-based music groups such as Reidvoltus, The Kuda, Texpack, Diskoteq, and Rasvala.
Swellow draws inspiration from 90s indie rock as its primary musical influence. Their songs feature unconventional structures, driven by distinctive guitar riffs and visually evocative lyrics. Swellow released their debut EP, Karet, in 2021, followed by their first full-length album, Katus, in 2023.
