Swisky

Philip Mols otherwise known as Swisky, is a 26-year-old hardstyle DJ and producer from Newcastle, Australia, known for his attention-grabbing reverse bass DJ edits of big tracks from other genres.

Due to his love of music and an eagerness to create it himself, Swisky decided to take music seriously and enrol in numerous music courses at the age of 18, where for the next 5 years he went on to achieve qualifications in music and sound production.

During this time, he honed his skills and learned to take music from other genres and manipulate it into the music style he was most passionate about, hardstyle.

The first project Swisky worked on was Internet Friends, an original track by Knife Party. His reverse bass edit of this massive track gained him his first fans and clocked up an impressive number of plays on SoundCloud, and is still one of his most successful edits today.

As a DJ, Swisky has performed at many events in and around Newcastle, Australia including Bounce, Craze, High Voltage, and Style to name just a few, with the Defqon.1 DJ Competition being his biggest crowd performed to as of yet.


The future looks bright for Swisky. As well as looking beyond his home area for DJ bookings, he’s also already keeping an eye on what’s trending in the commercial music scenes and you’ll no doubt be hearing his very own energetic hardstyle interpretations of some of these songs very soon.
