Switch (David James Andrew Taylor) is an English producer, DJ, and songwriter known for his genre-bending work with Beyoncé, M.I.A., and as a founding member of Major Lazer. A Grammy nominee for M.I.A.’s Paper Planes, he’s also produced for Christina Aguilera, Chaka Khan, Santigold, and Brandy. His collaborations with M.I.A. spanned three albums and global recording sessions, blending global sounds with cutting-edge production. In 2009, he co-created Guns Don’t Kill People… Lazers Do with Diplo before departing Major Lazer in 2011. He now runs his label, Diary Records, which debuted with Chaka Khan’s Hello Happiness.
