Music has always been a big part of my life.
From a very early age, I automatically sang along to all the current radio tunes from Country to Rock, from European ballads to polkas, so no matter the genre, if it had a beat, I loved it!
As a young child I sang in the church choir & was over the moon when I was able to pick up some tunes by ear on the accordion & piano.
Time turned into busy years & I all but forgot to sing, let alone write music until we purchased a farm, rescued a few horses & life slowed enough to have some personal time.
Once again I turned to music, tunes came to mind & I thought about writing poems/songs about things that mattered to me ... the struggles of youth, dementia, suffering animals etc.
From there, I reverted to my love of the more traditional; soft rock, country, blues & current styles. I’m just happy to put my music out there & hope that it resonates & brings a connection to people everywhere.
