Lucie Georgina O'Neill - Vocals + Stuff
Brian Leslie - Bass, Piano + Stuff
Caitlin Buck - Guitar + Stuff
Harwood - Drums + Stuff
Sylvia’s Reign was born when two rock duos, Deceiver and The Mittens, joined forces after jamming together and playing at Open Mic nights at HaverHub in Haverfordwest. Beginning as a cover band, the original lineup consisted of Harwood, Brian Leslie, Jake Le Breton and Theo Le Breton. They played a few gigs in the spring and summer of 2024 in pubs, festivals and even Pembrokeshire Pride.
After taking a break so that Theo could sit his GCSEs, they emerged in the autumn of 2024 as a very cohesive unit, and went on to win the 2024 Battle of the Bands in Queen’s Hall, Narberth. Since then, they have gained a dedicated following among the Pembrokeshire music scene, and began working on writing their own songs. Four of which are on the new EP Trying New Things xx.
After Jake and Theo's departure to pursue their own individual projects, Lucie Georgina O'Neill and Caitlin Buck were invited to join the lineup so that the chaotic majesty of Sylvia's Reign can continue. They are currently building a setlist ready for some gigs lined up in the summer, and are already composing new music together.
I think it's safe to say that Sylvia's Reign are not going to stop anytime soon.
