Tahls is a Brooklyn based alt-rock band. Starting to play guitar and write music in 2019, Tahlia Amanson has self produced all of her music in her bedroom, up until her latest record, Thanks A Million, where she drove to Memphis to work with producer Calvin Lauber. Recorded at Memphis Magnetic Recording Studios, Tahlia, Calvin and assistant engineer Elijah Poston truly created a new world within the record. From using weird synths, to the old Big Muff from Electro-Harmonix, Calvin and Tahlia were able to create a newer day version of the alternative rock sound from the 90s. Thanks A Million holds seven tracks, all of which tell different stories from the past 15 years of Tahlia’s life. “It’s rather a story board of being a naive child adapting into the reality of what we call adulthood.” - Tahlia Amanson
