Taho

French techno producer David Jacopin aka Taho was first discovered by Laurent Garnier in 1995. Taho signed two EPs on the legendary French label F communications at the age of 19.
Over his time this veteran producer has released on KMS, Ovum, Delsin, his fans include Gilles Peterson, Josh Wink, Pete Tong, Marco Bailey, Carl Cox, DJ Bone, Colin Dale, DJ Deep and more.
He appears on Ministry of Sound, Global Underground, Nervous, Renaissance, Buddha Bar compilations thanks to Dubfire, François K, Behrouz, Christian Smith and DJ Ravin who compiled his productions.

Taho founded Lumina in ’97 following his debut on Garnier’s F Comm. The label is about creating unique blends of music, narrative and visuals where futurism and mystery adds to the complete sensory experience. There is always a story to be told, sometimes the liner notes are on the sleeve, or the vision is transmitted via an accompanying video. Releases on Lumina have included Ian O’Donovan, Joris Voorn, Sol Ortega, G-Prod, Theobald Ringer, Brian Kage, as well as Taho himself. Supporters of the label include Laurent Garnier, Josh Wink, John Digweed, Chez Damier, Joris Voorn, Danny Tenaglia and more. Lumina’s output has been included on comps for Global Underground, MOS, Tronic and the hallowed Nervous Records.
