Tajak was formed in 2014 in Mexico City by members Curvo, ñois, and Coco Badan. The name means "skeleton" in the Kiliwa language, a tribe from northern Mexico that is almost exctinct.
They have released 3 albums and a single on Hole Records and Dirty Filthy Records, and the album "Ciclos" on peruvian label Buh Records.
The latest album "La Sombra del Agua" was released on Little Cloud Records, The Acid Test Recordings and Hole Records.

Tajak have played at LEVITATION, Space Fest in Poland, Festival Integraciones in Peru, Milhoes de Festa in Portugal and Psych Weekender in Manchester. In Mexico they have played at Festival Aural, Nrmal, Hipnosis, Hole Records Festival, Sahuaro Fest, and Festival Marvin with Damo Suzuki.
