Takar Nabam is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Arunachal Pradesh, India, whose music flows like a river between worlds—melding mellow alt-rock, jazz, and soul with whispers of Himalayan folk and the spirit of Northeast India. Singing in English and his native Nyishi tongue, Takar’s sound is a gentle rebellion—dreamy, introspective, and rooted in the belief that the journey matters more than the destination.
Shaped by 90s rock, R&B, and the improvisational freedom of jazz, being a self taught Artist for most post, he studied music formally for two semesters before finding his voice across stages in India, the U.S., Japan, and Indonesia.
