Taki Tsan is one of the cornerstones of Greek hip-hop. Born Panagiotis Stravalexis in San Diego and raised in Nea Ionia, Athens, he first hit the underground with Zontanoi Nekroi (ZN), the cult crew whose taboo-breaking records dragged drugs, violence and street reality into Greek rap. As Taki Tsan he became a full-spectrum Performer – Rapper, Tattoo artist, Actor, Composer, Lyricist, Stand-up comedian and even tongue-in-cheek SmackDown wrestler, turning every appearance into a full show.

His discography defines Greek rap: Rima Gia Chrima, To Scholio, Sto Mialo tou Panagioti Stravalexi, Rima Gia Chrima 2, several mixtapes and collab projects like PhyroTsan. In parallel he kept the ZN myth alive, created Tigre Sporakia with Isvoleas – which later became Tigre Sporakia the Band, enhancing their concerts with live instruments – and formed the old-school supergroup Legeona. At the same time he learned baglama and embraced rebetiko as Takaros on YouTube, fusing old Greek songs with rap grit while also composing his own Laiko/Rebetiko songs.

Family drives the latest chapter. His brother and long-time producer DJ ALX helped him complete the saga with Rima Gia Chrima 3 in 2025 – a collaboration LP that closes the trilogy and introduces his son Niko Tsan, a rising name in Greek rap. Between ZN, Tigre Sporakia, the solo classics and the family line with DJ ALX and Niko Tsan, Taki Tsan stands as a living bridge between eras of Greek hip-hop.
