TaKiyah'Marie

TaKiyah’Marie is a singer and songwriter born in Chicago, Illinois. As the only girl with three brothers, TaKiyah is no stranger to fighting for what’s hers and standing out in a crowd. Raised by her grandmother, TaKiyah spent a lot of her childhood in church. She was one of the youngest members of the choir, which was her first introduction to performing in front of a crowd.

As TaKiyah entered into adulthood, she encountered some of life’s inevitable challenges, tough relationships, and single motherhood. Despite that, TaKiyah’s enduring faith and undeniable talent led her to the doors of opportunity with Grand Rising Records.

Influenced by Alicia Keys, Jhené Aiko, Yolanda Adams, Nipsey Hussle, and Aaliyah, TaKiyah strives to create music that is authentic, inspirational, and exciting to help fans overcome their deepest fears and live out their wildest dreams.

TaKiyah's 2021 release, "Soul Ties" hit #3 on the iTunes R&B chart in July 2022 and peaked at #36 on the Mediabase R&B Radio Report. Her next single, "Crown Apple" was premiered on V103 by DJ Greg Street, taking TaKiyah's music even further. TaKiyah's music is produced by the world's top producers, who have produced for stars such as Chris Brown, Fantasia, Nicki Minaj, Yelawolf, and Ciara.

Of all of TaKiyah’s triumphs, she is most proud of her daughters, Miyah and Taylor, who are the inspiration behind TaKiyah’s grind in the music industry.
