Produced by Grammy award winner, Matt Rollings, and recorded at the Smoakstack in Nashville, Tennessee, Talbot's debut solo EP, "Big Shot," features Talbot’s original music and top artists, including Matt Rollings, Fred Eltringham, Jimmie Lee Sloas, Jenee Fleenor, Kris Donegan, Buddy Miller, Dan Dugmore, Carmella Ramsey, Tania Hancheroff, and Trey Keller.

Playing professionally since her early teens, Talbot Mayo is no stranger to the stage or the studio. As a singer and musician she delivers memorable performances night in and night out and as a songwriter she weaves together a variety of genres and sounds to create something unique but still relatable. Rooted in old-time bluegrass and country standards, Talbot’s music also draws influence from honky-tonk and modern alternative rock tunes. Lyrically she highlights mundane chores, folk lore, heartache, the family farm, and anything else that catches her eye. With songs ranging from two-step dance numbers to somber murder ballads and everything in between, there’s rarely a dull moment when Talbot is on stage.
