Tall Guy Short Songs is the solo project of Scott Ireland, award-winning singer songwriter and founding member of the alternative-folk group Bug Guts. Born near the Hanford Nuclear Power Plant in Washington, Scott grew at an alarmingly fast rate, topping six feet by age four. Among his many mutant super powers is his uncanny ability to write songs less than two minutes in length. Along with his Bug Guts band mate Rosebud, they have released over a dozens of records and received numerous songwriting awards. His song “Good Dog” has been used in a pet insurance ad, the Westminster Dog Show, and hundreds of thousands of online dog videos. Other than all that, he’s just a regular guy.
