Talla Kamyab is a 20-year-old Boston-based hopeless romantic artist, combining R&B and Pop in her engaging storytelling. Talla’s songwriting journey began at 14, originally writing as an emotional outlet to document the stressors of her young life. This has progressed into not only a source of understanding her emotions but creating a relatable emotional release for her listeners. Gaining influence from prolific artists such as Madison Beer, Lewis Capaldi, and Adele, Talla puts a spin on traditional powerhouse love songs with her empowering and conversational lyrics, as well as her sweet tone. Recently, she released her single “Passerby” in 2022, a vulnerable love song detailing finding a lifeline and safe place in a new person. In June of 2023, Talla entered a new era, unveiling a revelatory bedroom pop song with friend and collaborator Saurik Singh.
