Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Tan Low (Pablo Martinez Merino) has been favorably compared to the likes of Nick Drake, Mojave 3, and Red House Painters' Mark Kozelek, and the Madrid-based artist cites post-punk bands like Joy Division and post-rock bands like Disco Inferno and Bark Psychosis as key influences, though you wouldn't know it straight off from his spare sound, which occasionally incorporates cello and/or piano.
