The husband and wife duo known as Taniq was originally formed as a band in Chicago. The word Taniq is a portmanteau of Talent and Unique. Taniq has a sound that is deeply rooted in Soul and head-nodding positive Hip-Hop featuring Jazzy melodies, Funk-inspired horn arrangements, and Gospel-esque call-and-response. Their lively concerts feature dance choreography and lots of personal and interactive audience participation.
