Tantum Ra

Tantum Ra is a Bay Area-based independent artist. Originally from the D.R. Congo (DRC), Tantum embodies his diverse musical influences in his creation of Afrofusion music. His art taps into the best of both worlds: growing up in DRC and the Bay Area, CA.

“Through Afrofusion I’m able to share my African-ness with people from all walks of life. My records have heavy influences from Latin music because of the time I’ve spent living in the Bay Area; however, I’m African and Afrobeats will always be a part of me…”

“From a very young age, I knew that I wanted to be a musician and I did the right thing by pursuing this path, I believe music can be a powerful tool for change and entertainment, it can unite people and bring joy to the world.”
