If ‘Where is the love?’ is a reflective question that the Black Eyed Peas posed to the world and ‘Amani’ is Beyond’s anthem to call for peace, then ‘a big group hug and a massive dance party’ is what TAOTAO believes the world needs right now. It is also what drives her to become a singer-songwriter: to continue the spirits of these legends with her creations.

During her study in MI Hollywood Los Angeles, TAOTAO was thrilled by the variety and the energy of live music, especially in ‘the Juice Joint’ where African American Music culture is shared through jamming and improvisation. Her respect for this genre is easily found in her music, where she tries to incorporate some elements of R&B, Soul, Hip Hop, Funk and Gospel and bring the vibes back to Asia.

TAOTAO gathered a 12 people ensemble and made her debut as an independent artist in Live House Hollywood. In 2024 , she released her first EP ‘WHERE IS THE LOVE?’ - The Ultimate Love Survival Guide'. This year, TAOTAO will embrace the sentimental side of her, while collaborating with artists from Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Japan.

古今中外有不少樂壇傳奇人物以愛之名創作音樂：70年代英國John Lennon的Imagine，90年代香港樂隊Beyond的Amani。創作歌手TAOTAO追隨著這些前輩的步伐，希望為生活奔波的高壓城市人送上一絲暖意。為了開闊音樂眼界，TAOTAO遠赴LA的Musicians Institute接受聲樂、作曲和音樂製作訓練。同時發現發達社會經常遺下的弱勢社群，透過她的音樂希望能引起世界對他們多一點關注和理解，即使想法和處境不同也可以同理，因此寫下關於露宿者 的《On The Street》、LGBT的《兩顆》及抑鬱症的《日與夜常》。上年她發佈了首張專輯《WHERE IS THE LOVE?- The Ultimate Love Survival Gude》。2025有多首跨國合作，但作品主要是回歸自己內心。
