Tape Legacy

Tape Legacy is an outspoken, passion-fueled, Native American (Ciboney/Nahua) Artist from Burbank, CA who many have described as a living shadow of Link Wray, Dick Dale, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, and GG Allin. Named in honor of the historic relevance and preservation of tape which has revolutionized music, culture, and humanity’s destiny, “Tape Legacy” is an innovative sound designer and musician whose work with music legends like Kathie Talbot inspired sounds in the EDM and Rock world, changing the sounds of TV Commercials and Films to this day. Tape has shaped the LA Punk scene with his relentless energy, attitude, and unapologetic soundscapes and live performances on electric guitar, being described as a legend in the Powerviolence scene (2007-2010) and a fan-favorite across L.A.’s Hardcore, Psychedelic and Indie-rock scenes. Active as a nonconformist since 2004 with his debut “The Eloquence” (featured in the LA TIMES), Tape is also an award winning filmmaker (IEC Award) and destructor of norms who displays his raw angst, love, and desire through sound, video, and fashion with every heartbeat.
