For some, musical success comes like a lightning bolt. For others, it’s the product of a group of talented people pouring their blood, sweat and tears into something that’s worth the effort. Enter <a href="spotify:artist:4XlJCilK4FPGMtGLZuhgse" data-name="Tapedeck 45">Tapedeck 45</a> – an Indie Rock Foursome from Central Scotland who’ve spent more than 5 years perfecting their sound.
Starting out as frontman Sam Stewart and bassist Andy Laurie’s project for beer money back in uni, Tapedeck 45 has its roots firmly in the rocking, rolling indie scene of the mid-2010s. With classic indie tunes and styles belying serious musical composition, it wasn’t long before Tapedeck 45 became a regular in the gigging scene of their local stomping grounds of Dundee and Perth. Over the years, the band’s added Jordan Cruickshank on keys and Andrew Burns on drums into the mix.
With the release of their self-titled debut album launching imminently, they’re ready to take on the world!
