Introducing <a href="spotify:artist:2Ogj7F3ArMBFuZpSHdXIgw" data-name="Tapes">Tapes</a>, the beautifully harmonious collaboration between <a href="spotify:artist:0mggAufUAphkLBSwEKnAvu" data-name="Milo Gore">Milo Gore</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6tvVCF98Kk7bT5Bjl3pvcY" data-name="FARE">FARE</a>. The Bristol based duo created Tapes while rehearsing their track ‘Lazy Wednesdays’, when a friend made the suggestion of developing the sound as a Lo-Fi acoustic side project. They would later make the decision to record onto tape.
By combining Milo’s natural ability for poetic storytelling, and FARE’s organic lyricism and melodies, the pair have developed a truly aesthetic sound that has captured the attention of many. Their debut EP ‘dead dogs & sad songs’ has been steadily increasing in streams, as they gain more and more support for their unique sound.
After some time away, the duo are finally back, with their new EP ‘Silly Little Songs’ set to surpass even the quality of their highly received first release. Tapes have now honed their strengths further, and produced something truly magical. In-depth conversations from the two best friends have led them to look inwards, discuss themes, develop ideas, and truly reinvent their writing style, leading to a fresh look for the talented duo.
