TÁR

TÁR is a joint musical project founded by ZÖE and Elin Ey, two musicians with a passion for creating material that is rich in creative storytelling and sonic innovation.

With their unique blend of captivating melodies, thought-provoking lyrics, and a keen understanding of the power of artistic honesty and line-crossing, TÁR aims to continually evolve in the genre of folk music.
Both accomplished artists in their own right, they joined forces with a shared vision of crafting music that enhances the emotional depth and experience of every-day life.

While Elin has been a long standing staple in the Icelandic music industry as a songwriter, producer and performer, ZÖE is originally from Los Angeles, where she studied sound engineering and production before moving to Iceland, where she has produced numerous projects as well as taught sound engineering and production to the next generation of young female artists.

Together, they are not afraid to experiment, pushing the boundaries of their sound and exploring new sonic landscapes to create music that is fresh, captivating, and relatable on a fundamentally human level.
