Tara Jam

Tara Jam is quite literally fulfilling the prophecy of her name, with Tara meaning ‘star’ and symbolizing the light of the soul. She channels this light through her blend of artistry as a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, producer, director, and photographer. By creating and sharing high-frequency tuned songs, including tracks in 432 Hz, she seeks to harmonize with the universe and inspire those who immerse themselves in her art.

Toronto (Tkaronto) based Tara Jam has been songwriting since the age of six, has studied and practiced Opera for over a decade in the Royal Conservatory of Music, and is of third generation musical talent. Her Persian Zoroastrian upbringing has infused her with a spirit for connection and fidelity to authenticity—Tara’s pursuit of sharing mediation through music aligns with this to a T. Her sound is inspired by diverse genres; cinematic, avant-garde, electronic, dream, dark, and experimental pop, with hues of witch house, trap, alternative, ambient, lo-fi, drum&bass, acoustic, and more. As an independent artist, Tara's accomplishments extend far beyond her creative process; she has garnered recognition from over 30 radio stations, garnered over 1 million streams on Spotify, and has been featured in publications such as Complex, Wonderland, EarMilk, and Notion.
