Tarahumara is the recording project of Alexander Serneels and Wonne Joosen. Despite having spent a couple of years together in a live band that had its humble successes -- such as reaching the finals of Humo's Rock Rally in 2014 and getting a bit of airplay through Studio Brussel’s De Nieuwe Lichting and Radio 1 -- they actually never officially released something before.
The duo figured out a way of working to use their studious personalities to tackle all that kept them from making their first release until today. They committed to a 1 year deadline to write an EP and decided to take full control of the creation process in the broadest possible way. This has led to finishing their first EP ‘How we once looked upon tomorrow’.
For the co-production and guest vocals on the EP they collaborated with old friends Leen Diependaele (Samowar), Lukas Hermans and Orson Wouters (Sleepers Reign).
