TARCISIO BRAGA is a Brazilian drummer, percussionist, composer, and music producer. Originally from Minas Gerais and based in Manaus, in the heart of the Amazon rainforest in Brazil. He has been active in instrumental music (Brazilian, jazz), concert music (contemporary, symphonic, opera, chamber, percussion ensemble), and original compositions (both his own and accompanying other artists).
He specializes in creating group musical interactions that emphasize real-time creation and improvisation, where sensitivity is heightened to capture the moment and the musical thought that materializes in the instant of action.
In his solo work, he develops an intuitive approach to building organic, free, and improvised frameworks. The artist views his work as a manifesto: returning to simplicity, to the unassuming, while engaging in music as a form of immersion and reconnection. Music as survival! His work aims to accesses sensitive layers of himself, inviting the listener to a unique experience of attention.
