Tarık İster was introduced to music at an early age, influenced by his father — a distinguished oud player and Turkish Classical Music artist. He began his musical journey with a foundation in classical Turkish music maqams and vocal training.
During his high school years, Tarık started exploring music production in digital environments. By 2008, he was professionally arranging remix versions of songs by some of Turkey’s biggest stars, including Serdar Ortaç, Tarkan, and Ajda Pekkan.
In 2010, he began working as an arranger with producer Suat Aydoğan at Metropolis Istanbul Records, collaborating with many prominent figures in the music industry.
Today, Tarık İster continues his career under Tisto Music, the production company he founded. He has produced albums for major Turkish artists such as Tarkan, Ajda Pekkan, Serdar Ortaç, Bengü, Yıldız Tilbe, Ziynet Sali, Melis Fis , Ebru Yaşar, and Aydın Kurtoğlu, among many others.
In addition to his work as a producer and arranger, Tarık İster is also the producer and lead vocalist of “Çocukluk Aşkımsın”, the most streamed anthem of Galatasaray Sports Club, which has become a beloved fan favorite.
He frequently shares his own vocal performances with his audience, further showcasing his talent as both a producer and a performer.
