February 2015. TASTEFUL TURMOIL is born…
In the cold and dark forests of Hillilä, guitarist Riku and drummer Aleksi started the band as a death metal unit but soon decided to move towards more classic thrash metal path when bassist Kasimir and guitarist/vocalist Severi joined the band six months later. Soon the band released their first demo and played their first shows. Slowly but surely Turmoil began to gather some speed and soon their first album “PROTECT THE WASTED” was born. After the album was released the band went on a hiatus but in 2018 they made their triumphant return.
For the first quarter of 2018 the band wrote and rehearsed 9 new songs and the songs would eventually be on the second album. During the summertime the album was recorded and would be ready in early 2019. A huge step forward in the bands life was the inclusion of a new partner, Inverse Records.
The second album “THE PHANTOM FEAR” is coming out via INVERSE RECORDS on 12.04.2019.
