Tate Irving

Born and raised in Sundre, Alberta, artist and songwriter Tate Irving writes from a place of authenticity and heart. His music takes on the struggles of daily life and of growing pains, and re-imagines these as catchy, moving singles, which connect for their melodic embrace as much so as their deeply human undertones.

Boasting a life-long commitment to making music, Irving has been playing since just five years of age. His teenage years saw him perform in two different bands, and in the years since the creative has appeared for a multitude of shows at renowned venues and events – including spots in Calgary, at Wicked Woods Music Festival, and at Friendzy Fest.

Inspired by the likes of Ed Sheeran as much so as John Mayer and Ziggy Alberts, Irving’s music is eclectic and uninhibited - far from confined to a single genre, yet well-rooted in the organic song writing and guitar-led sound design that leads to such honest, open and engaging releases.

Having recently entered into a co-pub deal with Bedroom Studios, owned by a group of artist friends the likes of whom are as devoted to perfecting his sound as himself, Irving works hard at both his music and for his family’s oilfield business.

As 2022 looms, Tate has 18 original singles in the pipeline, each to be released throughout the year under the Bedroom Studios banner. Whilst far from the beginning of his journey, the year ahead will undoubtedly mark the start of an epic new chapter!
