Tatyana Akman started her career as a model and actress in Indonesia. She appeared in Nia Dinata's modern adaptation of "Tiga Dara" (a classic Indonesian musical film by Usmar Ismail), "Ini Kisah Tiga Dara" in 2016. As she was doing musical showcases and concerts during her film promotion, she began to really consider pursuing music and performing career. Straying away from the musical genre, she began to write and produce music that resembles her personality. With the help of singer-songwriter Samo Rafael and music composer and guitarist Tofan Iskandar, they are the men behind "Naked Cat Studio". Together, they produced her first single "Sad Today".
