TAWO (alias Alexander Ranft) is a German musician and producer that lives on Lanzarote. With various musicians he produces different types of music. Main influences are Downtempo, LoFi, Hip Hop, Jazz, Electronic and Synthpop. This symbiosis of different genres makes the typical TAWO sound and the liberty to combine and experiment. Everything is produced in his home studio, a tiny basement room, where he finds freedom in sound, instruments and notes.
