Taylor Watkins

Blending an orthodox Christian upbringing with a burning love for traditional pop music, Taylor Watkins musically fuses the likes of Taylor Swift, both then and now, with cultural powerhouse Dua Lipa. From belting “You Belong With Me” into her hairbrush microphone in her bedroom to breaking her debut single “Go Low,” Taylor Watkins shares her stories through tears and triumph with her fans. The underlying message is simple, “Never let anything or anybody stop you.”

Born in San Diego, California, a Pastor’s daughter, Taylor and her two younger siblings lived in a very strict and sheltered Christian household. At two years old, Taylor and her family moved to Seattle. A decade later she arrives in the small town of Plymouth, Indiana where her father pastored a community church, and from there they moved to Iowa where she graduated high school.

Shortly after while away at college, it became eminently clear: Taylor Watkins was born an artist, a singer, a songwriter and, furthermore, a performer! She knew at the age of one that she would be a star. She packed up her college dorm room in Marion, Indiana, and moved to Chicago to pursue her music career with everything she had.

One night, while working late in the studio, she met Dex Millions of Impact Team Entertainment. After hearing her music for the first time, Dex Millions knew the girl he met in the studio that night was going to be a popstar. The rest is history in the making.
