Among the clang of electric guitars Taynee Lord sits upon her vocal throne, producing a heady mix of anthemic hooks and commanding lyrics. Taynee claims to be “No queen bee” but prepare yourself for high octane country twang, walking bass and songs that tuck themselves into a bed of twisted pop. Taynee founded her 5 piece band in Bristol in late 2018 recording her debut EP <a href="spotify:album:4rKKsBuSL6JoqjXojco6Rf" data-name="If Only">If Only</a> in January 2019. Since then her single '<a href="spotify:album:1vxDvKXTeyNQsmDNBALAMB" data-name="No God Of Mine">No God Of Mine</a>' charted at Number 1 in the iTunes U.K. country music Charts . Resulting in the band getting the honour to perform for Glastonbury Festival Founder Michael Eavis at The Pilton Stage. Her music has been played on BBC Introducing in the South & West and was honoured to be featured as BBC Upload's Live In Session Band of the Week in May 2022. Taynee has also captured the attention of over 250 radio stations worldwide. In 2022 Taynee’s music was successful at The Simply Country Radio awards, winning The People’s Choice Award and Best Song of the Year with her single '<a href="spotify:album:7kBbdUrmrahEC0KCeHycCY" data-name="Love Moves Like a Train">Love Moves Like a Train</a>'.
Recently Taynee Lord's live appearances include festival headline slots and supporting artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:2wpJOPmf1TIOzrB9mzHifd" data-name="Scouting For Girls">Scouting For Girls</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2yEkZBBjhzKzt6LF5XMaFi" data-name="Blue">Blue</a> at multiple festivals around the UK. She continues to be a rising force amidst the burgeoning British Country Music Scene with her transmitting connection to the roots of Americana.
