Born Thabo Caution Tlomatsana, TCT is a music fanatic, a Afrohouse and old school DJ and most certainly a force to be reckoned with. Thabo was born Ga-madisha-a-leole in Zebediela, Limpopo.
He was raised by his grandmother who pushed him to participate in church activities. “Uma uwumtwana ka gogo wenza yonkinto ugogo ayishoyo,” he says. Thabo started music at a very young age when he received his first piano in 1997. He became the choir master at his local church in 2005 and later joined a clap and tap choir called Tembisa United after moving to Johannesburg.
While finding his feet in music Thabo formed a friendship turned business partnership with Bongane Sax. With their combined music and business expertise founded a record label called Livelli Lifestyle Entertainment, which has seen phenomenal growth since its birth. With his story, he became a motivation to the artists under his label as he carved out a space for himself in the industry as a DJ and musical artist. After being part of the label’s very first EP, Livelli Lifestyle Lv1, he took time in the studio and began to create his own music.
