Teal Peel’s debut album ‘Country River’ was released on December 1st, 2023.
Feelings of exploration, uncertainty and self-discovery are the basis on which frontman Taylor Neal began writing new material four years ago. Today, Neal along with longtime friends and collaborators, have emerged from their cocoon as Jacksonville-based four piece band, Teal Peel. Together, the band’s dynamic and improvisational style makes for a unique performance each time they take the stage. Described as creating a complex-yet-enjoyable soundscape of lo-fi indie-folk, alternative rock and improvisational ambience, motifs of insect life, days at the beach and aquatic adventures are the inspiration behind their debut album ‘Country River.’
