Teazers is a femme punk band from Kansas City, MO.
Their music falls under the umbrella of punk while taking lyrical inspiration from rock, folk, hardcore, and more. Teazers stemmed from a desire to blend punk ideology with feminine-rooted topics in hopes of healing themselves and others, while bringing light to aspects of girlhood in current society.
Macee Lewis comes from a family of talented musicians who gave up too soon on their dreams which motivated her to achieve the success they never did. She’s been singing for as long as she can remember, started playing drums at age 10, and is constantly writing music. Macee is a classically trained vocalist and percussionist, an audio engineer, and teaches private music lessons for many instruments.
Skye Sherwood is a production sound recordist and musician based in Kansas City. They graduated from KCAI in 2024 with a BFA in Filmmaking and a minor in Sound. Skye was gifted their first bass guitar at age 11 and instantly fell in love with stringed instruments.
Haddy Christa discovered her love for music at a very young age when she realized writing songs could turn even life’s worst experiences into something beautiful. She started playing guitar at fifteen years old when she picked up her dad’s acoustic to explore music as a hobby and it quickly became the most important and constant passion in her life.
