Multi-instrumentalist James Mulholland, also known as TECHNIQUES, is a Manchester-based songwriter and electronic artist who began making his first recordings from the bedroom laying down drums, bass lines, guitars, synths and vocals all using one microphone and ‘whatever else was lying around’. Mulholland made his début on the hugely influential Parisian label, Kitsuné Music before moving to work with Electronic Rumors. Mulholland is the former frontman of indie outfit, The KBC.
