Teddy was born in Greenup County Kentucky and learned early on in life the rich sound and soulful music of the hills, from greats such as Bill Monroe and Ralph Stanley along with many more. It wasn't until Teddy moved to Troy Alabama at the age of 12 that he realized he had a talent for writing songs and singing,Mostly inspired by Hank Williams Jr and other southern rock greats such as Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Marshall Tucker band. Teddy signed his first publishing deal in 1999 and was mentored by one of his childhood heroes, Lamar Morris. Lamar had cuts in his career by Loretta Lynn, Jerry Lee Lewis and Hank Williams Jr. just to name a few. Teddy has recently signed with Rock Solid Talent entertainment from the United Kingdom.Phil Taylor, Manager and CEO of the label entered a formal contract agreement with Teddy in the year 2020. somewhere tonight, Teddy is thinking of lyrics to write a new song.
