Growing up in Montego Bay Jamaica, she was immersed in a diverse range of musical genres such as RnB, Reggae, and Gospel. Her early exposure to these styles, particularly through church and local groups, shaped her love for music and her appreciation for intricate harmonies that resonate deeply. Her influences span across generations and genres, from classic artists like Ella Fitzgerald and The Manhattans, to contemporary inspirations such as Lianne La Havas, Yebba and H.E.R.

Years of actively cultivating her musical talents, have allowed TEE to refine her vocal abilities and develop a keen ear for the nuances that contribute to the beauty of music.
