Music heavily impacted the formative years of Teen AF. Influenced by James Fauntleroy, Frank Ocean, Ester Dean and Eric Bellinger, he began writing and creating hip-hop music by the time he reached college.
Born and raised in Paterson, NJ, he migrated to Florida and attended Full Sail University in 2012. He learned a few basic music production principles, but more importantly, lived the life of a broke AF college kid with only enough money for Burger King by the end of the week.
After a brief return to Paterson, a move to Los Angeles was imminent. With a plan in place, a bit of luck and student loan on his back, he relocated to Downtown LA started working as file clerk. He began songwriting, toplining and ghostwriting while studying his craft at the highest level. This studious approach led him to attend Crē•8 Music Academy in 2017. Upon graduation, he partnered with long-time mentor Doug Fenske at Westlake Recording Studios to launch his artistry.
