TGSM were bred to completion in the summer of 2010. They were featured on Buzzfeed as “The Pop Band You Want and Need” and their first 2 records made Buzzfeed’s end of the year “Best Indie Records You May Have Missed” lists in 2013 and 2015. Time Out New York called them “fun, upbeat twee pop - like the Pains of Being Pure at Heart reimagined as a party band,” and L Magazine featured them in their 8 Bands You Should Hear issue when that was still a thing. Once, someone on twitter said they were “insufferably twee” and they don’t disagree. TGSM jangle, stomp, and spark. A frenzied friendship of rhyme and rhythm, their obituary reads "extremely happy indie rock" and some say they still haunt this barn.
