Teflo $" (pronounced Teflo Dollar) is a multifaceted American artist, songwriter, and producer. the son of West Indian immigrants, this cultural influence is readily apparent in his music. Teflo’s music can be described as heavily “highly experimental yet wildly satisfying”. Though Teflo finds comfort in hip hop, he has also experimented in producing Indie Pop and R&B records.
Telfo’s self-produced freshman EP, Unpopular Opinion, was released in late 2015. The EP showcased his style and range within hip hop. The following year saw the release of a second EP, Risky Behavior. Teflo’s sophomore release showcased a different musicality than his freshman tracks and expanded the boundaries of modern hip hop. Telfo’s most recent release, Glass House, brings listeners to progressive hip hop sound that is still influenced by the Caribbean vibes from his cultural homeland.
