Born into the Liverpool rave scene of the early 90s, House music was imprinted into Tekla’s creative make-up. He was schooled from an early age in the mechanics of programming and sampling. From then it was only a matter of time before Tekla himself developed his own distinctive vibe for the underground dance floors. House, with a foundation of Techno and a heavy emphasis on rhythm is the best way of articulating his own sound into words. With releases on Cuff, Dirtybird, Houseology and Mr. Nice Guy Records to name a few, Tekla has gained support and praise from some of the scenes most respected names.
