Swazi & South African native Temgazi is a songstress based in Sydney, Australia.
Growing up around music Temgazi was introduced to entertainment early on, establishing singing groups as a child and performing in church. Over the years this evolved into the establishment of her first girl group, Adira Belle. The quartet featured on hit TV show X Factor in 2013 making in into the Top 12.
Her first ever solo track Favour, a witty RnB single uploaded to SoundCloud only, went on to receive radio play from Australia’s acclaimed Triple J without so much as as an official release. She was then signed by New York record label Tommy Boy Records to release Bunsen Burner which became Temgazi’s first official release.
She has since released a string of singles and performed world class stages such as Sydney Opera House and the Forum Theatre where she opened for Sampa The Great and performed alongside South African superstars Musa Keys, Omah Lay and Daliwonga.
Temgazi has come through swinging in 2023 serving a spicy Bars Of Steel performance on Triple J, a single and video release titled I-WAY which featured as video of the week on Tone Deaf and Rolling Stone Australia. She has also been announced to perform at Promiseland, a star-studded lineup where she will perform alongside the likes of Tems and Ms Lauryn Hill.
