Stockholm, Sweden 2014. Tilda Feuk (Vocals) and Jonas Hermansson (Vocals/Lead Guitar) met at a late night studio jam, which soon after, will take them to Nashville where the country duo Tennessee Tears is born.
In collaboration with songwriter Billy Burnette (Fleetwood Mac) and some of Nashville finest musicians, Tennessee Tears hits the studio to record their debut single “I Love You Whatever” which hits no. 2 on the Swedish iTunes chart and takes the duo all across Scandinavia and Europe.
Tennessee Tears has been described as country music with Swedish-sounding pop melodies and to quote Billy Burnette: “This marriage between Stockholm and Nashville is gonna be a real eye-opener for people”
Their single "Do You Still Think Of Me" mixes a modern Nashville sound with Swedish pop melodies. Tennessee Tears is the first signing to the the label Jimajomo co-founded by Jill Johnson. The band was also part of her 2022 spring tour "Havanna Tour". 2023 they released the song "Head Over Heels" co-written with Jill and produced by Amir Aly. Tennessee Tears participated with the follow up single "Now I Know" at the Swedish TV show Melodifestivalen, one of the most watched TV shows in Sweden with over 3 million viewers.
Their debut EP "Our Differences" (2023) includes a collection of previous singles and new songs written by Jonas and Tilda, produced by Amir Aly. Since then they've released several country/pop singles like "Little Of Me" and "Queen Of Pearls".
