Four college classmates with the Pop/Jazz influence formed a band called Teras Manusia in 2018. There are Kamila Ghanies on vocals, Muhammad Nadhif Nur Dhia on guitar, Jidan Mustopa on bass, and Jovi Ramanda Putra on drums. Inspired from the local scene such as Payung Teduh and Mocca, Teras Manusia created modest Pop/Jazz music both in music and lyrics.
After a long wait of exploring the genre from Pop to a little bit of Jazz, Teras Manusia released their first single titled “Jarak” in 2022: a story about the definitions of ‘distance’ that sometimes can be miserable in any way that packed in easy listening music with some Waltz session at the end of the song.
