Termina is a progressive metalcore/deathcore project that emerged in 2020, co-founded by renowned YouTuber and guitarist Nik Nocturnal and dynamic vocalist Andy Cizek (of Monuments). Their debut album, Dysphoria, introduced a fresh take on heavy music, blending searing metalcore, progressive metal, and deathcore elements with a distinctive mix of crushing riffs, complex arrangements, and Cizek's versatile vocal range—from menacing growls to soaring cleans.
Following their success, Termina continued to push boundaries with a series of impactful singles in 2022, leading to their ambitious 2023 release, Soul Elegy. This sophomore effort saw the addition of progressive metal drummer Chris Turner and featured a powerhouse lineup of guest artists, including Marcus Bridge (Northlane), Phil Bozeman (Whitechapel), Kyle Anderson (Brand of Sacrifice), Ryo Kinoshita (ex-Crystal Lake, Knosis), Sean Harmanis (Make Them Suffer), Taylor Barber (Left to Suffer), alongside guitar virtuosos Jason Richardson and Calle Thomer.
Now, with the band entering the era of their third LP, Termina is exploring new sonic territories, blending alternative metal with contemporary melodic pop elements. This evolution promises a dark, atmospheric soundscape, all while preserving the punishing heaviness and technical mastery that have become the hallmark of their music.
