Terry Mutter

My focus is writing and performing music of the joys and complexities of the human spirit. Music is such a healing tonic for the soul, and even more so when created through collaboration with friends and family. I have been a musician all my life. However, my journey as a singer songwriter began in 2020 after experiencing the passing of my parents. I started writing music as a way of processing this loss that is both heartbreaking and also a natural progression of life. Since the spring of 2021 I have learned so much about writing, recording and production and have received a tremendous amount of support from many talented people.

My first release "Walking In The Rain", is an EP of 5 songs. This served as a great starting point to learn what it takes to write, record and produce music. It would have been easy to justify holding off releasing “Walking In the Rain” and apply all the lessons learned. However, it was time to let it go and move on. “Sentinels” was released in 2022 and experimented with additional instrumentation. My second album “The Counter” was released in 2023. In 2024 I began releasing a series of singles leading off with "Divide By 2", “Those Mother Years and “Tough Pick”. 2025 will see the release of additional singles culminating in the release of a new album.
