Tesla Pox

Tesla Pox is an indie band originally from Guadalajara (Mexico) that incorporates elements of post rock, shoegaze and post punk revival, through the warmth of the use of traditional rock instruments such as drums, bass and guitar, added to the warmth of the violin and the viola that accompany the melody of the human voice willing to be interpreted by the listener.

Their show is characterized by taking the audience to a sensory journey where stories flow and are revived moments within tides of emotions. Most of them include interdisciplinary elements that together with music create unforgettable feelings and unrepeatable experiences.

The name Tesla Pox is a syncretism that refers to two elements: the Tesla coil,
which is capable of transmitting energy without the need for cables, and on the
other hand the pox, a brandy from southern Mexico, which is made mainly of corn
and is used in ceremonies since it has a mystical and healing connotation.

The dialogue; what they are; the dreams and the stories they want to tell with
music are what makes Tesla Pox imagine everything they narrate with sounds.
Starting from the idea of ​​creating music to tell something,the band invites us
not to think about musical genres or premises when creating music, but to dream
and imagine new sounds and rhythms. Listening to Tesla Pox is listening to four
friends creating stories together, whitout limits.
