TEUN is the performing act of singer-songwriter Teun Los. He graduated the Amsterdam based PACT+ pop music college in 2023 after a well reviewed concert in a sold-out Upstairs room in the Melkweg. He spent the summer after finishing and recording his debut EP titled ‘Homebound’ which is set to release May 3rd 2024, with the first single releasing March 15th.
Teun grew up surrounded by all sorts of music. At a young age, he started singing along to the radio hits he heard in the back of his parents car. His dad caught up on this and started teaching him the basics of the guitar, to accompany his singing. Two years later he had his first official vocal class by jazz singer Marjoleine Leene. Here he developed his love for jazz.
Teun mostly writes about his own life experiences. In his doing so, he finds solitude in the chaos of his life in Amsterdam in his early twenties. The five songs on his debut EP 'Homebound' perfectly reflect this.
