Tevan

Tevan was born in 1995 in Avon Park, Florida. From a young age, Tevan was exposed to a variety of music and funnily enough, did not like rap music for the longest. His older cousin was a full-time musician for a bit, touring across Florida with his band. This is what inspired Tevan to pursue music himself.

Around 10 years old, Tevan started learning to play different instruments such as the guitar, the snare drum, the drumset, and more. As he got older, he learned to play the piano, marimba, and at 22 dove into hip-hop after getting hooked by NoLifeShaq reactions.

His earlier inspirations for music were Crypt, CHVSE, and Gatsb7. Also heavily influenced by artists such as J Cole and Logic, he has taken hip-hop in his own way.

He originally started off as SirKit, but felt the name change of Tevan was appropriate as he finally found what he wanted his music to sound like.
